Frequently asked questions

Who are classes for?

Anyone who is expecting a baby and wants to be more prepared for birth and looking after their baby.

Can anyone come with me?

Classes are for you and your birth partner. The price of the course includes two attendees under the one booking. You are welcome to bring along a family member or friend, anyone you want to support you.

How pregnant should I be to attend?

All courses have a guide of which course would suit best according to your due date, but you can attend any course at any gestation.

Where are classes held?

At our lovely venue in Glasgow's  Merchant city. The venue is wheelchair accessible but unfortunately does not have any private parking. On street parking is available.

Why choose this course?

This is my own business run by me alone. I am not a national organisation or franchise which means I personally teach every session and I get to know all my clients for a tailored and personal experience. I have over one hundred 5 star google reviews which all highly recommend me.

Do you do home visits?

Yes, if you would like a private session I will travel within a 20 mile radius of Glasgow city centre to your home and delivered a tailored session with topics of your choice.

What is your cancellation policy?

I offer a full refund with up to 21 days notice of course start date and 50% refund after this time. Courses are transferable, so I will make every effort to accommodate switching course dates or offer one to one sessions as an alternative in person or online.

Our Mission

Working with expectant and new parents is an absolute joy! I feel so privileged to be a part of their journey and so happy I am able to support and be there for parents. I started the Birth and Baby Space so it could become my full time job and I could support parents full time before and after their babies arrive.

I believe every expectant parent should have access to high quality, evidence based information about birth and early parenthood. My aim is for your birth to be a positive experience, whatever form that takes, and to give you the confidence in your parenting abilities and trust yourself to follow your own parenting path!

I want to create a safe, inclusive and supportive network, where new friends can be made and you know you will always be listened to.

Cost should not be a barrier to accessing high quality antenatal classes. If you find affordability is an issue please get in touch with me. As a social enterprise we offer subsidised places on our group courses and free online workshops open to everyone!
